This 6.7 ISB Cummins EGR Cooler is made to achieve a flawless direct fit in place of your conventional OEM EGR cooler installed at the factory. By contrast, this Cummins ISB 6.7 EGR cooler is designed and made to last the lifetime of your truck, with helically-wound stainless-steel tubing that is able to flex in order to handle the continual heating/cooling cycles an EGR cooler must survive. This is something traditional EGR coolers fail at doing, which often causes them to rupture and require replacement.
